I'm still in the air on whether or not the drops are just at a statistically random rate or there is some greater consipracy against the solo farming.
I have made a few runs at totems since this first post and have had random & extremely frustrating drop rates. I think I did about 12 runs with no drops and then BAM - the next two runs I got 3 totems each. And then another dry spell of about 10 runs then I called it quits for awhile.
I think that tightening the drop rate has been done in part to hedge against the saturation of greens in the market. If the high drops rates were to continue then in response, the solo & team farming would continue to increase which would ultimatley lead to a massive market of greens. The more people out there selling greens the less and less valuable they become. It's a double edged sword really. More drops = less value. Less drops = prices can go up.

No conspiracy against solo farming no, but they do have an anti farming code. If you farm with the same people in your party for a while you get steadily less drops.

I really find it funny when people say things like this. No, ANet has not nerfed drop rates, chances are they would tell us in a game update if they did. It is just, as people have said earlier, Anti-Farm. Personally, I also farm greens (without breaks) and have got 13 Greens in the space of two weeks (all of them different Greens) and i think luck also plays a big part.

I have done around 20 Icebreaker runs, just doing 2 or 3 runs a week to make sure I don't trigger the anti farming code and I have never got an Icebreaker. And I clear all the mighty grawl every time..

Well that's a waste of time. I think it was GuildWiki that said only the grawl that you see holding it has a chance to drop it. All other grawl will definitely not drop.

True, I have gotten 5 Icebreakers farming them with my Spike Ele.
Just take a party of Henchmen and head off to the Mighty Grawls. If you see one holding an IB, kill off everything around it as much as you can. Go back and slaughter your Hench party far away (I use the Imps near Ice caves). Kill the single Mighty Grawl carrying the IB and it's a guaranteed drop.
You can save lots of time by just running forward into the Grawl group to scan and see if one has it
From my experience a M.Grawl will carry one every 4-5 runs. Once I had 2 Grawls carrying it in one run ^_^

I echo Vengefull farm in Arborstone Explorable for Wardens and the Yetis outside Fort Aspewood. Arborstone is great for getting tons of Tanned hides to sell, Yeti's almost always drop a superior rune every run.
As for the topic, no solo farming hasnt been nerfed. The anti farming code is just causing your drops to decrease. What you need to do is just find a new place to farm each week, and slowly farm it and/or another spot.
If you just kill 1 boss several times, then do a mission and come back, the anti-farming code is still gonna be in affect for that area. Meaning you need to farm one spot till drops suck, then go to a completely new spot for a while.
And there really isnt a reason to complain if your green farming. Consider the fact there is a green item economy(unlike just regular gold farming and merchantising drops), if you get tons of greens the prices drop, if you get less greens, just raise the price to compensate your so called "losses". If the prices dont go up, then apparently you just have bad luck and everyone else is getting tons of drops.

There should be a sticky called "Farming has not been nerfed" since there's always someone that feels it is, even when it isn't.
I suggest the sticky stays up until Farming might actually be nerfed.
*sigh*

I noticed to some difficulties with greens too. Before i could go with some bots in Surrows and get many greens but now it seems imposible. Like they nerfed farming with bots.
I farm alot and if anyone wonne join you are welcome. iI dont have problems going in groups either.
Maybe we can learn som from each other.

ive been trying to farm the forest (FoW) with my ranger. i generaly RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up but make it half way and get one shard every couple runs to play for going back in. once i was able to compleatly clear the forest i got 3 shards that time, 3 the next now i cant find a shard drop to save my life. its sad, my friends tell me that guildwars wants me to be socail. this is funny cause i was chatting with my friend as i was solo farming. it was nice to figure out a build that would let me solo farm then figure out how to do it well. now its barely profitable.

From my observation, i believe that anet try to nerf player from farming the same item at the same place with the same members. When i first figure out a way to farm sunreach with 2 accounts. I got like 3 sunreach shield, 3 arbor staff, 3 kryil staff and like 8 falaharn split daggers in 3 hours. Then, i do the same thing at the same place with the same accounts on the others day, i later found that the drop is decreasing and finally no greens drop for me at all after 20 runs.
So, i tried to add in a SS to speed up the farming. Later i found that 1 map only got 1 green per run. This was what i assume. But later my fren told me that this is wrong. If you are going with a 3 man group, you always get 1 -2 greens at most. He went out farming with a full group and he said they got 3 greens drop. So, i believe that anet like more ppl to farm together.
So later, i tried to teach my 2 man sunreach farming to others by adding 6 members and ask them to do nothing. guess what? I got like 3 Sunreach shield drop for me on that day. Impressive rite? so what is my conclusion here............?
Try to add in some new members to your old farming party to get more greens drop especially those who never farm that place b4.

I solo Rajazan Fervor and Ghial and have been getting 1 or 2 every other day. Usually I do 5 runs once I log on and then other stuff for the rest of the day.
Also I have a question about the farm code. If you farm a spots and the drops get crappy, instead of doing other things besides farming with the SAME character can u play with your OTHER characters to wear off the farm code.
